Digital Subchannels

Just a quick note to advise folks to look for some new digital subchannels in this area, especially if you like classic televsion. Since I last blogged, WDYR has gone digital and has several subchannels, one of which being TCT Family that has several classic shows. WTWV is on the air in digital out of Memphis and has added a subchannel that contains classic programming. They are also a MyFamilyTV affiliate. WLMT has swapped RTV for MeTV. WREG launched AntennaTV back in January and it seems to be doing very well. You can still see RTV on WPSD 6.2 out of Paducah. The big subchannel news around here comes from Jackson, WBBJ. In January, 7.3 will become CBS, making WBBJ a carrier of two of the major networks. We will lose the 24 hour weather radar loop, but it will be interesting to have another CBS outlet. You can also look for LP analog channel 35 to go on the air at some point with NBC programming; this will put all of the major networks in Jackson, TN.
